COUNCIL ORDER

Kyoto Taiko Council had started as an organization to study folklore music specialized in Japanese drum performance. Our first mission to pursuit was to study Kyoto local folklore "WACHI-DAIKO" and to share what we learn with the others who want to know about it. We have more connections with local folklore in other regions now. We would like to adopt more workshop to share those information that we have been practicing by ourselves. We are honored to serve as an intermediary between you and those organizations of folklore music with taiko.

LIVE PERFORMANCE

Live performance is our passion and important opportunity to let people know who we are and what we can do exactly. We are lucky enough to have a place to perform resident show that can be used as our studio with storage space in a heart of Kyoto city. Our base has an easy access by public transportation. Compare to many Japanese drum groups who have base in the isolated country side to ensure a satisfactory environment for practice, we have much geographically advantageous. Probably, this will be the most hardest part that organization survives time to time. We already have one of a smart solution from the beginning. You can enjoy our performance or maybe join with us in a future. Like they always say, "May the force be with you".
